![]() It's also missing the 5th string tuning machine. It's going to need a new bridge, as I do not have one. All of the tension rods and hooks are present, one of which has a slight bend in it that is pictured above. So this pot has a bit of an "Egg" shape to it. ![]() The pot, when measured two ways, is just about 11 3/16" going at a diagonal, and about 11 1/16" going straight across, left to right. It's going to need a good amount of work to bring this one back, but as with most Fairbanks banjos, it's usually well worth it.First off, it's going to need a new head. ![]() 0 Special banjo that has been dated to the 1890's, probably around 1895 or thereabouts due to the manufacturers marking on the dowel stick. Beautiful antique 5 string banjo by the famous A.C Fairbanks & Co.
